Health Insurance

Effective the 31st day of employment for new hires. Weekly deductions are tax deferred, and rates are subject to change each renewal period.

Dental & Vision

Effective the 31st day of employment for new hires.

Life Insurance

1 ½ times your annual base salary paid for by the company. Effective the 31st day of employment for new hires.

Voluntary Life & AD/D Coverage

Up to $150,000 without Evidence of Insurability. Maximum coverage $500,000 subject to additional medical information.

401K & Retirement

Eligible on hire date. Adena will match up to 4% of your gross income. Every participating employee is automatically 100% vested in Adena’s contribution.

Short & Long-Term Disability

Short-term disability benefits will be paid at 60% of base rate – maximum of $1,000/week for up to 13 weeks. May elect coverage for long term disability.

Accident & Critical Illness

May elect coverage based on amount of benefit elected.

Holidays & Paid Time Off

6 paid holidays. Paid time off will begin accruing immediately upon hire starting at 12 days per year. PTO accruals are based on hours worked per week/year.

Car Allowance/Company Vehicle

Certain levels of employees will either receive a weekly car allowance with mileage reimbursement or a company truck with Adena providing gas for the vehicle.

Adena U, Adena Corporation’s in-house apprenticeship program is now in its second year with added training for ironworkers and carpenters. Focused on workforce development, Adena U combines hands-on jobsite experience with classroom and lab instruction to prepare the next generation of skilled construction professionals.

Carpentry 1

First Year Cohort: 4 Employees

  • OSHA-compliant safety practices
  • Blueprint reading
  • Basic framing (floors, walls, roofs)
  • Site layout and materials
  • Cold from steel framing

Carpentry 2

Second Year Cohort: 4 Employees

  • Advanced framing and finishing
  • Wall and floor systems
  • Advanced blueprint reading & estimating: Reading detailed plans, calculating material needs and costs

Ironworking

3 Employees

  • OSHA-compliant safety practices
  • Fastening systems and tools
  • Structural ironworking
  • Rigging and oxyfuel cutting
